Zak Noyle - iPhone 6 World Gallery

We couldn't be more proud of long time A-Frame family member Zak Noyle and his recent work with Apple iPhone 6. A few months back, Zak's image of an empty wave shot with his iPhone started showing up on billboards around the world (Melrose avenue in Beverly Hills pictured below) and since then his video work with the same device is now prominently featured in the Apple World Gallery.

Zak was the first photographer to add his iPhone to his water arsenal at Pipeline and started sending live images from the lineup long before most people considered the camera worthy of such feats. He's a man of many talents who's very focused on the continuous advancement of his craft. And for that we thank him. Thanks Zak!

Flynn is Swell

Flynn Novak has been a fixture on the North Shore for years now. You usually see him parked in a massive Pipe pit or perfecting his Flynnstone Flip at Rocky Point. Recently, A-Frame photographer, Brent Bielmann scored the cover of the Swell catalog with Flynn putting it on rail. By shooting from a unique perspective, Brent managed to differentiate his photos from the rest of the pack shooting on the beach. Well done Brent!

Pat Stacy :: Solo Exhibition at the TBWA\Chiat\Day Art Space

Special thanks to keen surfer and TBWA\Chiat\Day producer, Michael Gross who, after seeing a recent Surfing Magazine cover, reached out to Pat with an invitation to hang his work in their amazing indoor city of an office. Michael had been a fan of Pat’s work, but his giant barrel cover shot of an arm raised Timmy Reyes (May 2010 issue of Surfing Magazine) pushed him over the edge to call about doing a show. Pat did a Friday afternoon presentation to a packed house and got the entire building into surf mode right before summer besieged our fine state. From Pat Stacy and everyone here at A-Frame we thank the fine folks at TBWA\Chiat\Day for their incredible hospitality and for keeping our guys on their radar. We are very grateful to say the least.

THIRSTY?

Our favorite Surfer Girl, Monyca Byrne-Wickey, is being featured in the latest Gatorade outdoor campaign. The image purchased was shot by A-Frame ace Jason Kenworthy. The campaign can be seen nationwide on billboards and most major sports stadiums. We’re looking forward to working on the next phase of this awesome campaign and will keep you posted as it develops. Between Nike and Gatorade, Jason has quickly established himself as one of the the “surf guys” making an impact in the commercial world. Now that’s G!
