...we're proud to introduce you to Zak Noyle. Zak is one of the newest members of the A-Frame family and has quickly proven himself as one of the rising stars in the world of water photography. He has been working very hard the last couple of years to break onto "the scene" and that he did with his incredible work from the Quiksilver in memory of Eddie Aikau event this year. With multiple covers, ads and countless editorial impressions Zak has proven himself as not only a very talented photographer, but as a guy who can make it happen in or out of the water. We have a feeling you'll be seeing much more from him as he makes his mark in the surf world. Welcome to the team Zak.

Surfing Heritage Foundation Announces Nike 6.0 As Sponsor For Spring “Light Table Sessions”

Back by popular demand, the Surfing Heritage Foundation announces the continuation of last years surf photographer slide shows with a new series for 2009, “Light Table Sessions” presented by Nike 6.0. The series of three shows is co-produced with the cooperation of surf publications TransWorld SURF, Surfing and Surfer. Each magazine’s Photo Editor will present a slide show of their favorite images and “talk story” about the images and the photographers who took them.

On April 24, TransWorld SURF’s Aaron Checkwood will be first to present, followed by Peter Taras of Surfing Magazine May 22, and the series concludes on June 26 with Surfer Magazine’s Grant Ellis. Each show will be unique and all showings will be held at the Surfing Heritage Foundation’s San Clemente location, with the world’s most important collection of surfboards as the setting for the events. Participants will be able to view the collection, enjoy a no host bar; and have a unique opportunity to enjoy a slide show and meet the Photo Editors of each publication. Each event will start at 7:00 and cost $15 to attend. Seating is limited. Proceeds will benefit SHF. For ticket sales and driving directions call the Surfing Heritage Foundation at 949 388-0313 x 5.

A-Frame Welcomes Zak Noyle to the Team

Zak is one of the top up and coming water photographers. Based in Oahu, Zak has access to the best waves and talent. He's also a recent addition to the Transworld Surf team. Check out a few of his images.
